This report was completed June 2016 by the International Telecommunication Union. This report includes several graphs depicting global comparisons for ICT (information and communications technology) coverage and usage data from 2013-2016. These data indicate that while the majority of the world’s population live in areas with network coverage, ICT services are not used by more than half of the population. Large differences in affordability, accessibility, broadband quality and speed still hinder usage.
