(IS-2016-94) Beyond monoculture: How design eats strategy for breakfast

This paper is a collaboration between Boss Design and Insight from 2016 arguing that corporate strategy and design must go “hand in glove” in order for a corporate strategy or culture to survive. When developing workplace strategies, one needs to understand the the culture of the workplace, which could reject or shift the desired output of the strategy. The link between strategy and design is stronger now than ever since the time and place of working no longer ties employees to employers.
