This feasibility study evaluates the impact of low-cost environmental sensors in UK social housing. Monitoring temperature, humidity, CO₂, and VOCs, the study finds these tools help detect early signs of dampness, poor air quality, and thermal discomfort—factors tied to occupant health and energy inefficiency. It concludes that sensor-based monitoring can support healthier, more sustainable housing.
