This report captures the findings from an on-line business forum that explored the evolving business models and offerings that are enabled by the Internet of Things. It highlights key insights proposing that ‘Things’ need to exhibit cognitive intelligence to provide a stronger relationship with end users; that the complexity of the integrating ‘Things’ will require an open platform; and that businesses will need to evolve their organization to participate in the Business of Things.
