This report was completed in December 2014 by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory of the US Dept of Energy. The report examines the tradeoffs among financing methods for businesses installing onsite photovoltaics. Costs and benefits of financing strategies are reviewed. Case studies comparing IKEA (ownership) to Staples (Power Purchase Agreement) are provided.
